I think CIC in China conference just said they have not talked with Hanyu yet about FAOI 2020, since it's still competition season, but they will try their best to invite him to participate.

Since the date there is the most feasible for me.

That, too. But sorry if I am wrong :biggrin: I just can't imagine CIC takes risk going to China without Yuzuru (I hope this doesn't sound disrespectful to other skaters and the fans). FaOI always announces Yuzuru's participation in the last like two weeks before the tour starts, and I really don't like it to be honest. I hope it will be different for Chines show.
 
People worked out the Google advertisement in Times Square used photos of Hanyu's Otonal from Japan nationals. So the Google promoters even kept up to date with Yuzu!
 
News "every" has just aired Yuzuru's footage now and I think some parts were new. It showed his interview given in June this year and Yuzuru said he had watched Nathan's FS of Worlds 2019 about 100 times and said jokingly he had increased total number of the views :biggrin:

Yesterday, I was so disappointed by the Forbes article. Then, Hanyu fans made them to edit the article. It's still a disrespectful paragraph but the power of Hanyu fans made a positive change :biggrin: Way to go guys :agree:

A few sentences of the author were simply lies and I was relieved those were deleted/edited. I personally feel some of fans' comments were too strong, but it is still important to correct false information IMO. Now the similar thing has been happening in Japan, one of the tabloids made up the fake story about Yuzuru and a fan is planning to report it to JSF. In this case, not making a fuss too much on SNS but just reporting to the magazine/federation/organization directly would be good IMO.

Other fans researched and noted that it wasn't an 'official' forbes article. Some people can use the forbes umbrella to write whatever they want and forbes gets more publicity. https://twitter.com/courtneymilan/status/1210149803889291264?s=20
It's a silly article in any case, and I'm glad that they were forced to take out the inaccuracies. Any writer should do better research than this for a subject.
-The danger of making a big fuss about tabloids on SNS is that it only attracts more clicks and clicks=money. So I agree that the best way is to make complaints to the source- and their bosses.

Well, after all the inaccuracies they didn't even bother correcting their article by making the distinction that Adam was an Olympic Team Bronze medalists... There was an angle the writer wanted to take, and sadly they clearly have no idea about figure skating and couldn't even muster up the energy to read properly when they did their Google and Amazon search and just sound foolish.

I honestly felt that Japan did not even exist to this author :laugh: But well, it is ok now ;)
