All skaters on the entry list of JN got PCR test on December 17 and all tested negative. The coaches will get test on December 23 and 24, and receive their IDs after knowing they tested negative. So we at least know Yuzuru had PCR test and tested negative. I hope the skaters can have PCR test again with their coaches because December 17 is almost a week ago, but I don't think JSF will do that...

Hanyu confirms he has two new programs. and I am guessing that is a hint at part of the program?
I really look forward to the new programs now . And he looks energetic and gorgeous.

Yuzuru just confirmed he had two new programs in an interview with Fuji TV, but has not revealed the music, apparently trying to keep it a surprise. He also mentioned he has been practicing the quad axel, but has opted not to try it at Nationals to keep his programs clean.

It's finally confirmed, new programs! Which means new music, new costumes... that pose is intriguing, and he looks well and focused. I remember that before 4CC he said he'd chosen new programs that were purely for him, after the tributes, but couldn't get them polished up in time. If so, it means this year he will be really creating something for himself, and it should be magical.

No quad axel this time does mean a lessening of the stress... presumably there is room for it in the program.

ps - on the basis of one pose, polls on the possible programs have been going up on twitter. I'm not even going to try and guess, he's fooled me every time.... I would looooove Tokyo Ghoul music but can't see it.

I've just watched Mezamashi TV and he said this was the first time he did choreography except for ice show programs, so I think a lot of his ideas are used in new programs. And when he was asked about competition with Shoma, he said "I will win...I don't think I can skate without that feeling because I decided to participate.", which made me so smile since it was sooo Yuzuru

Now it's around 7 in the morning on December 24 in Japan and official practice starts around noon. I guess we'll find out the music of his program in about 5 hours. I am at the office then and sure I can't concentrate on my work
