Great job!!! I LOVE this program even more than I thought I would. That choreographic slide that he does near the end of his step sequence is EVERYTHING. What is so incredible about Hanyu is the amount of detail put into the choreography- how perfectly in sync with the beat he is, how his movements match the lyrics, how he manages to put gestures even into his spins, and the moments he takes to have fun with the audience and judges. The jumps are incorporated seamlessly into the program and they almost become an afterthought because the performance as a whole is so engaging. This program reminds me of Parisienne Walkways in that regard.
Some notes: was he trying to tack a QUAD TOE onto the single sal? If he was trying to do a triple I feel like he could easily have gotten that landed. He also overrotated by a quarter turn.
Also, someone tell judge number one who gave him 7.75 in skating skills and transitions to meet me outside in the parking lot. :roll5:
