Yuzuru Hanyu

NHK reminds us that tomorrow (8th, in fact it's already today in Eastern Asia) they will rebroadcast their NHK Classic with Shinya Kiyozuka (who arranged Haru yo, Koi and Rondo for Yuzuru Hanyu, among others) and Yuzuru Hanyu, which had been broadcast first in January 2023, and I think rebroadcast in April? But I'm not sure.

Turtleneck-jumper-and-tweed-jacket-Yuzuru-Hanyu, welcome back!

And how could I forget the fourth anniversary of my beloved Four-Continents Ballade? Yuzuru Hanyu himself said that he was satisfied with this interpretation:

(I can't check this "AI upscaled" version right now, sorry if it isn't good.)

Here's a classic Japanese TV video:

Indeed, it should have got 113++, or even 114, is it the most underscored Short Program World Record? This, while I have never seen any Short Program by any other skater, deserving 100 or more.
The sound wasn't good in Seoul, but tomorrow/today we will dive again into "Yuzuru Hanyu and piano" on NHK.

The announcement of the broadcast of GIFT, and of the five million views for SharePractice, also inspire fanartists:

Yes!! 5 million views for Share Practice is truly amazing. I mean, show me anyone else who would draw so many viewers just to watch him stretching, working out, running around, gliding, stroking, and well, finally practicing on the ice too! And the number keeps growing and growing so it was not just a momentary interest fed on his having gone pro recently then.

Some view it as a sad anniversary because of the hole in the ice, because of the underscoring (to compare with others' incredible overscoring), but by itself it is such a beautiful skate, and a breakthrough on so many points in the history of Figure Skating; today is the second anniversary of Olympic Rondo:

I have very hard time deciding as I both love Rondo and it makes me very sad...

It seems to be geoblocked for Europe now, and I remember that it was geoblocked (for the USA particularly) six months after the Games, and Olympic Channel has exclusive rights on it...
Is it geoblocked for you too?
