Reading more about this, wouldn't it be wonderful to see Yuzu collaborate with someone like Travis Payne? He's proving right with RE_PRAY how he can make skating cooler and more exciting to a general audience than anyone else...
 
Oh yesss! Yet great artists like this usually have a minute idea of what they want to do/to be seen, and it can arise in conflicts when they have to work on the same project? The GOAT of ballet and the Prima Ballerina Assoluta in his ballet would always agree on important matters, but the few times they had to dance things they had already danced separately, I never read any rumour of "fights", but I felt a tension (on the contrary, on a new ballet the collaboration seemed seamless). So, I wonder if they would effectually work all three together, Yuzuru Hanyu, MIKIKO and Travis Payne. The two former seem to manage to work together very well, but until now MIKIKO had never worked for Figure Skating, now she has Prologue, GIFT and RE_PRAY as founding experience. If they can and wish, it would certainly result in something wonderful anyway! I'm even dreaming further, of inviting Daisuke Takahashi, I know the factional problems, I know that they don't dance in the same way, but he's the other skater able to pull off something breathtaking on ice. Sorry, I'm just daydreaming.

More into (already wonderful) reality, Pep_on links the dots with Yuzuru Hanyu's interview for AERA, where he says that he wishes he could produce sounds with his body, like Michael Jackson:

This is a series of at least one Triple Axel by program.season from Yuzuru Hanyu, from 2009 to 2023. It's impressive to see how his Triple Axel was always so good technically, perfectly rotated even at the tender age of 14, and after very few years, so seamlessly integrated in the choreography:

But there's something quite funny here about it: there had just been a post in The Edge suggesting a deification by some fans of another skater, this one is calling Yuzuru Hanyu "Divinity in motion", now I wonder if the post on The Edge had rather been premonitory of this Tweet? :eek2:

What I find interesting about it is that Travis Payne first reposted a bit of One Summer's Day, and then, it seems, went on further exploring other available material in some depth to finally make his "Divinity in Motion" claim.
It really means something when made by someone of his stature in the music / choreo business :love:
OTOH I guess his posts probably reach many people not interested in FS at all, especially in US, if anyone was looking for ways to reach them.
So first we had Wednesday girls, now him... Yuzuru's outreach to new fans and new circles seems to never come to a close...
