QuadrupleAxel is a Japanese Figure Skating magazine, with a rather poor reputation among fans of Yuzuru Hanyu, but when they announced that one of their next issues would have a cover showing Yuzuru Hanyu, and several pages of photographs of him, many fans still preordered it and it topped the Amazon list of best-selling magazines in Japan.
Then, just before the date of release, they changed the issue, the new cover showing another figure skater and the pages of photographs of Yuzuru Hanyu being removed!
Of course, there was a huge protest (and the new cover skater's Public Relations team bragged about the fact that a magazine with him as a cover was n°1 on Amazon, they're really not bright), on the principle, and of course from those who had pre-ordered a magazine with Yuzuru Hanyu content and were to receive it without.
QuadrupleAxel has eventually apologized and seems to accept to help those who pre-ordered the issue and want a refund:

I think that this is the second time that this magazine announces Yuzuru Hanyu content for an issue then removes it, I don't think I would buy it (particularly, knowing how many excellent magazines and photo books are on sale with a wealth of photographs and interviews of Yuzuru Hanyu and related persons), but some fans really want to have all about Yuzuru Hanyu.
