Yuzuru Hanyu

Tsuzuki sensei, his coach from 8 to 12 or 13? was in the first row:

Mika Ninagawa, who did several photo shoots of him for AERA (the latest, simply gorgeous, filled several magazines and a photo book), was spotted too.

And, of course, MIKIKO, who's co-director of the show:

How must Tsuzuki sensei have felt, remembering those lessons, and of watching the 1OGMs, and now seeing his student create such a work of art and be showered with so much love from the audience and the world...
TV Asahi has announced that RE_PRAY in Saga Day 1 would be broadcast on March 16th, RE_PRAY in Yokohama Day 1 on April 20th, and that there would be behind-the-scenes in May.
I can't say I am surprised, they really really love showing him.

I repeat what I said elsewhere - Haku is the most beautiful figure skating costume ever. And Yuzu looks positively unearthly in it.

I understand that their customers love it too, an that they see serious rises in subscriptions.
Here's their announcement for the streaming of tomorrow, with a short teaser:

Reports said that RE_PRAY in Yokohama Day 1 went well, apart from a spin, and a 4S popped into a 3S.
I hope that Yuzuru Hanyu doesn't feel too kuyashii for these little errors, and that he will be wholly satisfied with his performance tomorrow.

Me too. It sounds like he was happy...

So THAT’s why he didn’t pat his ass yesterday. Because Tsuzuki sensei sit in the short side (near my seat) and he is skating backward toward the short side at the time.

I really enjoy RE_PRAY yesterday. My seat is close enough to the ice so I can see his skating very clearly. He keeps getting better. His edges are very stable (he showcased it especially during A Fleeting Dream) and his blade is so quiet, I can’t hear it unless he’s using his toe pick or when he skid the blade.

Overall, the show feels very high quality and technology. They immersion to the audience as well by adding three smaller screens in the long side of the audience. These small screens are the expansion of the bigger screen on the north side. Also, they put spotlights to the audience and use projection beyond the screens. Audio quality is great too. Kudos to the production team.

Yuzu seems well. His jumps behaved (almost all, some mishaps during Messenger of Darkness, no falls though). He jokes a lot with the audience and is extra cute and relaxed.

Some of the programs like Megalovania is best enjoyed st the arena. And the Gate of Living…. OMG, I’m obsessed with that program since day one but he keeps improving his performance.

There’s simply no one like him. Beautiful skating, angelic appearance (or demonic, occassionally), loads of charisma, great work ethic, brilliant mind, etc.

Thank you for this, I am so happy you enjoyed it! The production is clearly top quality, and from the video it is clear that Yuzu absolutely shines, but it must be so much more to be actually there :thank::thank::cheer:

Good to hear he's in a good shape and looks happy :)
