I had already seen several posts by Gatagoro, the mascot of the Saga Prefecture, asking for support in a gourmet competition of mascots from 47 Japanese prefectures, for dishes using leftovers. Now, he's outright targeting fans of Yuzuru Hanyu with a puppet (I know that Gatagoro is a fish, but I find this puppet very Kermit-like, don't you?) addressing them from the RE_PRAY in Saga skating rink:

I must say that I really loved Gatagoro's warm welcome of Yuzuru Hanyu, that I don't mind some kind clout chasing, yet I wonder what Miyagi Prefecture mascots, such as Musubimaru (after all, it's an onigiri and onigiri are often made with leftover rice or filling) or the tree-shaped mascot of Visit Miyagi, think of all this, if they participate in this tournament.
After the pretended war of Poohs, why not a pretended war of mascots?

Better: the LiveViewing means that there will be cameras, and probably good camerawork, for these two practices. I really hope that we will get them in the DVDs of Notte Stellata 2024.
