I remember reading a comment by Courtney Milan (a romance novelist and former clerk for the Supreme Court) saying that a novelist would never have dared to write Yuzuru Hanyu's life, by fear that the plot would be deemed implausible.

Karl Hugo announced a single is out with the music he composed and performed specifically as an opening theme for Notte Stellata show. Titled "The Twinkling Stars of Hope", it is dedicated to Yuzuru Hanyu and inspired by his experience during the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Conversely, pianist and arranger Shinya Kiyozuka (who arranged and played Haru yo, Koi! and Rondo for Yuzuru Hanyu), after a concert with the NHK Orchestra, said that hearing Yuzuru Hanyu, during RE_PRAY, rejoicing in the presence of "best friend(s)" [note: there was also Taisei Miyakawa] warmed his heart, and shared that Yuzuru Hanyu once told him that with classic works such as rakugo or kabuki, one hear/watch them again and wish to rewatch them, and that he wanted to give that feeling with his skatings:

Many alleged "best friend(s)", it seems :) I wonder if any of those are the one(s) Yuzu really had in mind or maybe he thought about a completely different person(s) which might be the case just as well... :)
None of our business anyway.;)

At least, Nobunari Oda is a friend, they both said it, and they visibly like to interact at shows, and I think that he's one of the very few skaters who can join directly Yuzuru Hanyu? But he wasn't told that Yuzuru Hanyu was going professional, for instance, so we know that he's not what is called a close friend, and I think that Nobunari Oda was kindly warning us against tabloids (or even newspapers) who would insinuate that he's necessarily privy to any matter regarding Yuzuru Hanyu's personal and professional life, so that people don't believe those.
