Yuzuru Hanyu

Haier had sent their usual gift calendar page too:

As to this fan, they posted a "spot the difference" game:

From today and for a month, this conversation will be streamable on Sponichi on Ice:
"What Makes Yuzuru Hanyu So Extraordinary—A Legacy for Future Generations.
A special conversation between photographer Toshimiki Komi [I think that it's Yoshiki Kogaito] and art director Toshiyuki Kojima [if the transcription is right], who passionately discuss Hanyu’s legacy from the perspectives of photography and design":

In the future there are gonna be creative artists doing PhDs on him, I swear - as well as sports historians.

Quadruple Axel has also an interview of Costume Maker Taketoshi Hara, with bits of his latest lectures:

And there's also an interview of Yoshiki Kogaito, particularly about the Photon Exhibition at the Ryosokuin Temple in Kyoto:

It happens that the conversation was recorded for streaming, at the Kuwasawa Design School, no less, which students could attend live:

This does go in the direction you're foreseeing.
It's clear too, that the attendants are examining Photon as connoisseurs of Printing and Photographing techniques...

Here's from Gucci Japan :)
everyone seems to think they are trolling us and their big day on July 19 must be somehow Yuzu-realatred as this is the Pro-Anniversary and hard to believe it a pure coincidence. So, interesting bit about the Japan-exclusive colours. Yuzuru-Blue, anyone?

I could not agree more with this take on GOL (it comes from the Quadruple Axel Special Edition interview, I think).
As someone who cares a great deal about good lyrics and deeper meanings, I really truly appreciate so much Yuzuru's great choices in this department. And GoL's lyrics are really great and fit the show so well, second only to Masquerade, I think.

... speaking of which, any excuse to rewatch GoL is good

Tianjin, China, celebrating the Pro-Anniversary with a big screen display now, this year like every year....
It is amazing how much Yuzu is loved in China...

Couture on Ice is nearing the end of the pre-sales; and on July 24th, the TTA shop in the Tokyo Tower, where visitors of the Couture on Ice exhibition seek some of the bonuses, is going to have a few of them:

The cover photo and some of the others in the latest Quadruple Axel Magazine, were taken by Takaaki Miura; and there's a QR code to access behind-the-scene footage of the photo shoot:

Trend News Caster has posted an article on this special issue:

Here's the article:

Commercials featuring Yuzuru Hanyu often top this old commercials ranking, here with a Procter & Gamble commercial for Mothers' Day:

As to this TOWA Pharmaceuticals commercial, it has passed fifty million views:

I'm sorry, I hadn't noticed that the Irene Shop had had Cool Neck Rings, they've started shipping them; I wonder if there are some left:

And here comes a translation of the message(s) on the screen from Chinese:

"FLY YUZU! Chasing Dreams and Soaring High
Four years ago, you chose the unknown.
Four years later, you proved that passion can cross all boundaries.
Thank you for always staying true to yourself and bravely chasing your dreams
May every jump in the future soar toward broader skies
May every landing on the ice always land steadily on happiness
Congratulations on the 4th anniversary of Yuzuru Hanyu's pro career!』

In fanart catch-up attent, I'm still at Tanabata and there was an incredible number of fanart works on this theme...

Here are two others, the first being on the same idea as the second from the previous post, Prince TenChi meeting Princess Haru across the Milky Way for the former, Prince Bamboo and Princess Sakurai in this one:

REALIVE and PREQUEL are always a big trend, and I think that Yuzuru Hanyu is aware of it, judging by his anniversary gift to us?

But as always, there are many, many pictures "out of trend", because Yuzuru Hanyu's legacy is so huge and inspiring!
