Yuzuru Hanyu

The 4th Ice Story has been announced to premier this winter and , as a pre-taste and a generous gift, its Prequel will be free to watch for everyone on Yuzuru's official YouTube channel for an entire week starting today/tomorrow, July 19 at 8 pm JST.
Prequel was first performed in April as Part 2 of the REALIVE show under the title "Prequel. Before the White" and was enthusiastically received by the audience and official reviewers alike. It is Yuzuru skating to original modern music written especially for him by Marihiko Hara, the composer behind the soundtrack of the Oscar-nominated global movie hit Kokuho ("National Treasure") (2025). It's all about contemporary dance on ice and very, very unique.
What a celebration of the 4th anniversary of Yuzu turning pro which is on July 19!!!!
To add to the festivities, Yuzu has posted a short serene clip from Prequel on X, enjoy!!!!

How wonderful! He's so generous to his fans!

And here's the 4th anniversary message from Yuzuru translated by Maarika :
:thank: :rock::jump3::rock::thank::jump3:

“4 years have passed since I turned professional.
Thank you so much for all your support, and for coming to watch me (skate).From the time before I turned pro until now,I’ve remained totally committed to skating. If anything, I’m beginning to understand even better about skating and (my own) body now.
I’ll keep skating,with even greater passion,so that I can convey something,to those who come to watch me.
Thank you, as always!”

Sponichi on Ice has an interview of him (so, he's no more likely to forget the anniversary, as he maybe did for the first):

Can I say how much I love this picture and this costume, like a beautiful young wizard...

So excited about the release of Prequel!

And here's Marika's translation of Yuzuru's message posted on Instagram.
Slightly different from the one on X :)

And newspapers!
And Hochi News is the first part of a three-article series, the next ones being on 21st and 22d, if I understood correctly:

Edit: removing a latter addition on the wrong post.

NekoMasamune, the mascot of the Sendai Tourism Board, celebrates with a recollection of some of the programs from these four years:

It seems that they're participating in a mascot contest?

Edit: adding here what I had wrongly added on the previous post.

One of the largest Japanese ITC operators AU posted this and now everyone is expecting some Yuzu-related news from them,, lol.
The message says:
"Taking a Step Toward the Next Stage [emoticons of skates and snow :) ]
The 5th Year's Challenge, Together with au
".
Can you recognize the hands as some people online? ;)

I hadn't realised how his arm and hands were recognisable, I perceive them as of a classical beauty, so how is it that they're so recognisable? Suggestion apart of course.

In fanart, I'm still quite late but Realive/Prequel was there all the same, and it remains a big trend;

Some mix several inspirations, here Yuzuru Hanyu's gardening wishes expressed in his latest Menship Radio, Prequel's Kaku, a pose in the latest AnAn photo shoot I think...

Many fanartists often draw him in practice gear too, though here thanking for a pose in the latest Quadruple Axel I think:
