I'm sorry, but it shouldn't be if the judges would actually look at things like skating quality. Marin and especially Polina are so much better than Alina.

It will be a interesting season. Watching Junior ladies is so exciting :hap93:

I hope either Polina and Marin (or both) can break 200 point this season They deserve the highest PCS among the field.

Agree but PCS margin between Polina/Marin and Alina is not that high as it should be while Alina has the most difficult SP and the most difficult LP (5-6 points more than Honda's lp in the bv)

I think if Polina / Marina skates clean at the final they will beat Alina, but if they perform like in these events Alina has an edge.

I think if Polina / Marina skates clean at the final they will beat Alina, but if they perform like in these events Alina has an edge.

True about their PCS... maybe it will change a bit though when they all compete in the same event. One can hope

Konstantinova's 3S in the 3Lz+1Lo+3S combo was UR too.

Based on today's performance, the above skaters should not get a 7 in skating skills.

Considering Marin also was struggling last week, at this point maybe the door is open for Alina Zagitova.

Marin broke world record in free skate with 1A last week.
She is on another level, virtually untouchable by other girls, at least until Polina comes back 100%.

Sometimes the placements are not that outrageous. However it's the scoring the biggest issue.
They should have come back to 6.0 and say "because we love this skater more despite the UR and poor technique".
Instead they turn blind eyes at those issues and give those flawed technique full credit.
If tech specialists and judges are not strict and correct, they are just some dolls and I can even do their job.

tjaaaa, maybe she is from another planet ? I remind you that Honda got about 174 in Asian Open and 184 in GP Yokohama. Not so impressive as for "virtually untouchable by other girls"

just watched top 4, YunaS:luv17:: got me a little teary towards the end. then I saw those Russian tycoons in figure skating (Mishi, Sochi Tech specialist dude/head of ISU tech etc.) right up there during YunaS's final spin...Oh Well, my mood is ruined.
