Gracie was no waif back in 2011-12 when she started making a name for herself as a Junior. She was built solid but she was probably at her most explosive back then with her 3-3's.

I hope it is a purposeful gain and it helps her jumps

Well i think Gracie has took it easy this summer and hasn't really started to train for the season coming up so no doubt she has put a few pounds on. But Gracie seems very disciplined and she will be in shape when the GP season starts that i have no doubt plus she has Frank as her coach and he will get her into shape.

I kind of like Mao's Gospel choice, she clearly want to let her hair down and tries something different with exuberance and joy after last couple of tough years. It is time to enjoy life and fruits of her labour. I wonder if at her next show she will choose Chibi Maruko Chan for EX. Her new bob is perfect for it :)

I haven't been a fan of Kovtun's skating, but I really enjoyed his EX. He seemed a lot more animated and engaging with this performance. If he can bring that to the competition a little, I think his PCS might improve. Until now, I only remember him looking either moody or terrified.
