2023 U.S. Midwestern Sectionals & Pairs Final

The 2023 Midwestern Sectional Singles & U.S. Pairs Final will be held Nov 7-10, 2022, in Lansing, Mich., at the Suburban Ice East Lansing. It is a qualifying event for the upcoming 2023 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Beginning with the 2022-23 season, U.S. Figure Skating is consolidating the stand-alone October qualifying competitions, Regional (singles) and Sectional (pairs and ice dance) Challenges into the National Qualifying Series from mid-July to late September, allowing athletes to advance to the November Finals – Sectional Singles, U.S. Pairs and U.S. Ice Dance Finals – and culminating with the 2023 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships and National High Performance Development Team Camp in January 2023.

The ID qualifier is being held at the Eastern Sectionals Competition at SCOB in Norwood, MA which takes place November 9 - 12.

Baram/Tioumentsev are skating in senior pairs. I see quite a few pairs women/girls in various levels individually, too.

I'm watching the Jr. Men SP at Mids on Peacock. They actually have a small K&C! So far the stream has been a little iffy. Through the first 6 skaters the stream was freezing 4 or 5 times for each skater...sometimes during the program but also in the K&C. The ice has been resurfaced and it seems like the stream has improved. I'm not positive but I think Kori Ade was in the K&C with Antonio Monaco.
