when i 1st saw the fans i thought it was her previous ex number at 2012 us nats, glad it was different one! i loved it, i wish she held 1st position for her layback longer

2nd group number little awkward for me to watch haha, they didnt seem comfortable at all XD which is expected and that singer didnt help me enjoy at all

I think Karen was a bit careful with the performance. The singer looks a bit unsteady, and we don't need a crash. Wonderful flow, speed and coverage though.

Yeah maybe is the fancam, but I thought last year's stage design is better. I gathered they are trying some sort of 3D visuals projection screen which wouldn't come across on these fancams.

Johnny's number is ummm....interesting. Goodsport of him to do some lady gaga fan service. Post show reactions has been positive, but I obviously prefer his Farewell to my concubine program. Perhaps because it is one of those life imitate art sweet ironies that just work. Some of the best work are about putting together the right thing at the right time with the right people for the right moment. It did last year.

He need NEED better costume to do WuZeTian justice (need more layers of Red / Gold dominating colours, not some pink kimono come on. White are usually undergarments of the commoners. He should be skating in gold or yellow, the colour of Emperor/Empress). She is such a legendary character in Chinese history... a very conflicted rich complex character, known for beauty, ruthlessness and her dragon lady reputation. The first empress of China in over 4 millennium, the Ultimate Irony Lady before there was a Margaret Thatcher with the beauty / fame / brains / arrogance more than Angelina Jolie, Amal Alamuddin, Oprah Winfrey combined. Capable of enormous cruelty, kindness, intelligence and great wit, both feared and awed in history. Controversial character. It is a tall order for anyone to fulfill, but she can also be feminine and sympathetic. One thing she isn't is Paris Hilton, which is what I got from the performance. Unless this is pre-Empress days which would explain the 2 guys, well.. I don't know what to make of it then. May be he will get some costume or art direction upgrades in the China leg of the tour.

I agree on the costume for Empress Wu. I believe the costume was made by the AoI team, like last year (they even made him wear a different costume for the Bollywood number last year--one much inferior to the one Johnny had designed himself and wore in Japan earlier last summer). Of course, the costume also has to allow him to skate and jump

Karen Chen is so cute!

I'd love to see proper video of all the group numbers.

Stephane's "Sense" is jaw-droppingly beautiful. He has outdone himself yet again IMO, though I feel like I say this year after year. I don't think I'll ever love another skater as much as him. His sensitivity to, and way of expressing the music through movement are so in sync with my own artistic vision and immensely satisfying for me. Thanks for posting.
