The official Torino website.

Thanks Frau. Already found that one - I was just wondering about detailed protocols - element by element. Maybe they are not available until after the SP is complete. That's still a WHOLE lot better than international comps, where we wait until after the event. And even THAT is better than US comps where we wait XXX days. :) Call me a SPOILED Dirty Old Lady!! ;)

...and with Toth's skate, former top tier US skater Trifun Zivanovic gets bumped from the free skate. What happened there?

E-MAN

They're showing Plush waving in the crowd. He looks extremely relaxed. Funny. This guy is the only one that he should be worried about.

4T-3T- PERFECT!!!
3A- Pops into a single!!!!!! AAGGGGHHHHHH
3Lz- Flips out and both hands down

Man-oh-man!!! He has more potential than the rest of the field combined, and the best jump technique in the world. And the best footwork sequences.

So disappointed by Buttle and Lysacek. *sigh* I hope Lambiel and Buttle can still make the podium. Good long programs, boys!!!

One of the worst night of my life...I was so nervous for Kristoffer Berntsson, but he made it! But I think I need to go out and do some good deeds for hoping so badly that the last skaters would fail..but it worked!

OK - now for a little bettin'. When will the LP skate order be up? If Johnny skates before Plush, will he try the quad? If Johnny skates after Plush, will he try the quad? What will the other guys do?

In some ways I suppose this was a bit of a melt down (not necessarily all about falls - but pops, etc.). But I think the LP is shaping up to be exciting. Can't wait to actually WATCH SP's on TV tonight (and there are so many I would love to see, but won't on US TV). And then see who brings what for the LP.

Gotta love the Olys!

I don't think Johnny needs to worry about Plush - if he tried to beat him, it will only lead to disaster. If, however, his skate is preceeded by excellent skates by Lambiel, Buttle, Takahashi, and Joubert, then he should try the quad. Basically, he should only do it if it's the only way he can medal. Otherwise, he'll be putting himself in the same position Zhangs put themselves in pairs (of course, they did medal, but I doubt it's a path many want to repeat).

I think Johnny is not chasing Zhenya. The quad may enter the equation if he skates after Stephane and Brian. Or if somebody pulled an incredible performance.

of course if Plushenko were to have a total meltdown (G-d forbid!) and Johnny skates after him, then you never know. But still I am sure he will be very aware of others too.

I can't believe Eman got held up like that and Klimkin is way down. Where are the people who complain about Europeans being held up (and especially the Russians)? That's disgraceful.

Does anybody know what happened to poor Changzhang Li (sp?).
