Michael Weiss Takes on New Role for 2006 Winter Olympics, Providing Commentary on NBC 4 D.C. and America Online (AOL)
McLEAN, VA (10 February 2006) – Michael Weiss will provide commentary on NBC 4’s News4 Today at 6 a.m., with anchors Joe Krebs and Barbara Harrison, at approximately 6:45 a.m. each morning, Mondays-Fridays, from February 13 and 24th. Weiss will discuss the Games in general, as well as figure skating specifically, and more!
While his role with NBC 4 will follow a traditional broadcast path, Weiss will also have a strong Internet presence during the 2006 Winter Games, participating in AOL’s Sports Bloggers Live (SBL) throughout the Torino Olympics, and doing interviews with AOL Radio on February 13, 16, 20 and 23, each of those days providing a live 15-20 minute commentary on the Games, and on the figure skating competition in particular.
