I agree, maybe that's why his step sequences are looking amazing. I'm so excited to see his SP because I just love everything about it. So happy they included the illusion spin entry cause that is just

The local rink is smaller, and the video made by the camera in the local rink was just a cellphone so of course it's hard to tell.
But overall I can see in the new clips that he really has improved his skating skills. Especially his SP, so much smoother than in the ice show.

Haha, actually according to someone on twitter, after his music finished, his 4S attempts went like this: 4S pop, 4S fall, 4S turn-out hand downA bit worried about 3 quads, though. He pop the 4S in the practice video.Please be healthy Yuzuru. Please don't push yourself too hard.
Hopefully bad 4S practice leads to good 4S in competition, but for now I wouldn't worry.Honestly, I think in the scope of things, this really isn't a bad POTO program (of what we've seen so far), it's just unfortunate timing that so many people are using it this season.

Nope, I'm considering getting up at 3:30 AM on Friday (Pacific Daylight Time) to watch his competition, so join the club!
Edit: After watching the practice footage, I'm getting goosebumps already! His skate is going to be phenomenal!
In which part of the video? I see him doing a slow counter entry into the 3A-Lo-3S. That one?
I saw something similar to you. I didn't notice the standstill axel. He does a long glide backward and then the video cuts off to him doing the 3A 3 jump combo. It looks like they could be separate parts of the program because of the sudden cut, but we'll know soon

Ye, programs looks totally amazing, and you can already see that overall flow across the ice is huge diffrence between choreo of David Wilson and this. I thing that was great move to change on Shae-Lynn !
I hope that 4S will go great
And yeah, me too feels that his SS are still progressing very quickly , steps are so smooth, with nice flow, and getting speed across the ice easily

Aren't those the colors of what he wore for that gum commercial?
I think I have seen Ilia Kulik and Evgeni Plushenko in white and gold costumes also so it's been done before.

Hopefully it's either a new costume that's white and gold, or ... let's prepare for the worst (in terms of FS costume). All I know now after watching the new official practice video is that the program looks awesome!
Side note: can we officially call that news featuring of the official practice "over-enthusiastic reporter men ruining Yuzu's practice music"? (Their intense chatting/speculating overrode the POTO music)

Final time traveller was the first thing I thought of; and I hope these speculators are right.........because I really want him to do FTT in the gala
Not going to look at the practice vids; even though I'm not exactly going in completely unspoiled, I think it would be cool to see the stepsetc as a performance first. Though I'm happy to hear that's its good. its very soon so my self control will probably hold out. maybe.
