2014 Cup of China Mens Free Skate 11/08

British Euro guys said "There is no medical stuff"
and I don't think JSF has their own doctor to examine him properly.

that's a very important thing to not have on standby in a competitive sport competitive. quite a poor decision from the organizers then

The referee has the power to prevent skaters from competing for their safety, no?

I don't know, unfortunately. Can't think of a time where something like this has happened, where a skater was (or he may be) still determined to skate..

That's quite an irresponsible thing to say right now? Han Yan was the one trying to stop. Both of them didn't see anything in time.
They japanese tv showed Yuzu preparing for a jump out of steps and when he turned he saw Yan and tried to avoid him but they both had too much speed and it happened so fast they couldn't stop it

Remember what happened to Natasha Richardson - Richardson sustained a head injury when she fell while taking a beginner skiing lesson. The injury was followed by a lucid interval, when Richardson seemed to be fine and was able to talk and act normally. Paramedics and an ambulance which initially responded to the accident were told they were not needed and left. Refusing medical attention twice, she returned to her hotel room and about three hours later was taken to a local hospital after complaining of a headache. She was transferred from there by ambulance to Hôpital in critical condition and was admitted about seven hours after the fall. The following day she was flown to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where she died on 18 March at the age of 45.

Richard is skating well, brilliantly I think.... my feed is choppy so not too sure in between.... I have no idea, these spectators must have guts of steel or something.

Well I'd like to think he wouldn't refuse medical attention after the skate. Not saying I agree with the decision to perform, but I can only assume he will get extensively checked out one way or another...
