It does sound like it, but I actually think she's saying "oh boy" like she says "ooh" when he does the one handed cartwheel thing.

He has the Ronald McDonald socks on.

So, as a new FS fan last February, I had no idea that the Olympics audience was atypical, although it doesn 't surprise me.

By the way, I stumbled across this HD version of Jason's exhibition at Rostelcom - audience clearly loved it. I think it is Japanese. Would someone who speaks the language be willing to give us an idea of what the commentators are saying ?

I did in fact watch this before it was taken off the air, and it was a good production. I still cannot stand that song, and I don't like the slap happy country dancing program either. Maybe that is how others feel about Juke, since I seem to be one person on the planet who likes it (Juke, that is). I adore Jason, but I don't think I would go with free tickets to the rink two miles from my house to watch this EX. Well, maybe I would...

Thx Katmari. I saw some Japanese fan art earlier this year and was very impressed; this one is in fact super adorable. Particularly the classic "expression" from each program.

Slightly OT, but "-kun" is a more informal reference for a man, of any age. If you are close to them, if you are their friend, you can call them "-kun" at any age. Formally, of course, he would be "Jason-san", but family and friends (and he'd probably allow it of his fans too!) he'd be "Jason-kun" or even "Jason-chan".

Looking at his split jump, there are times I'd call him "Jason-sama", though!

Easier to see someone broody seem older. Jason's happy go lucky nature gives the impression of youthful innocence.
