It's funny that my friend in New York is planning to get married with the white dude she mentioned. When she was in highschool she said she would never marry a white guy because she didn't get them. That's life.
I will not surprised if the same will happen to Yuzuru. Anyways it's just a small interview and words are lots in translation. I hope people don't take it too seriously.

Thank you. I've posted here before, mostly after Saitama, so I'm not exactly new to this thread. :)

I was bracing myself for some crazy costumes this year, but his SP is really great when in motion and his LP tiger stripe is not as bad as it could have been. -Though I miss his first costume.
P.S. About the previous pages of discussion about Hanyu, it is what I meant about him not being able to please everyone. -At least he is honest in his interviews about what he likes and does not like. It may not be super P.C. to say you prefer Japanese girls, but if it is the truth and they asked point blank...what else can you do?
 
I don't think he will ever wear the CoC POTO costume again :cry:...although that costume is very nice as well. Is there any fancam of the new POTO costumer, want to see how its sparkle :biggrin:

I don't think he will either and it's such a shame, I loved that first costume. I wonder if the CoC costume will end up going on display somewhere like his other costumes do

Yeah I think so to. And I believe it will end up in a display like you said, becoz it is part of the journey of Yuzuru Hanyu :yes:

Sadly I think the same :(. It's really unfortunate because since the first moment I saw it I thought it was beautiful and it's not easy for me to love Yuzuru's costumes :laugh:
 
I like the red in the CoC POTO costume, but as many of you mentioned, I don't think there's any chance we'll see it again.

I think he did change up his SP costume along the way too. I saw a side-by-side comparison photo of it during CoC and during NHK and the sleeves looked very different. The purple looks darker too I believe. Sorry I don't know where I saw that picture now. But either way I like it and I think it suits the Chopin music very well. I am growing to love this SP as much as PW; Jeff Buttle really gets how to best showcase Hanyu-san's talent. Let's hope for more collaboration in the future!

Gosh the CoC POTO outfit was beautiful. Such a shame that the accident happened in it. Hanyu's a superstitious person no? My guess is he probably wouldn't want to wear that costume again :no:

Actually, I heard it's not b/c of superstition but the blood from that incident. They couldn't get the blood stains off and decided to make him a new costume.

EDIT: Shame, I really liked that costume too. It was so nice :cry:

Am I right that it was confirmed he will return to the previous SP layout with the spread eagles at Nationals?
