Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

That was a hard fall on the salchow and ended the donut spin hard too, I thought :/ he seemed to fight through this whole program but so beautiful and overall well done...you e worked hard hanyu

The men's fs was a bit of a splat fest, machida and daisuke both had very hard falls...after these falls I always appreciate that they can get to their feet and continue skating. Even when Hanyu falls, he goes to every jump like he has no fear, I always feel brave watching him

In the interview when they asked what style he wants to bring for worlds he said he wants to focus on every part of the program and make it all together something good, and a clean skate. Also he said today he couldn't feel all the emotions for his fs properly, but still he did the best he could with his ability now. I think he must be very tired in every way. I hope he can rest now and focus on himself. If anyone can provide better translation? I'm sorry maybe mine is difficult :/

Congratulations Yuzuru! This season is all about your guts and determination. I think you have proven beyond doubt that you are indeed a worthy Olympic champion. Now please rest and come back strong for Worlds.

Good job, Yuzu! :cheer: Now, please go rest -- I have a sinking feeling he simply didn't have enough energy for that 4S. But then his 3Lz's were all beautiful tonight, so I guess that's a trade-off??? I just hope he wasn't injured after that fall on the 4S, and I don't like the reports either, saying that he looked to be in pain during the spin + he dropped the Biellmann. ;A; Oh well, proud of you, kiddo! You're now a 3-time Japanese Nats champ! :cheer2:

Maybe it is just me but Yuzuru looked so mature and even more sexy today
sorry for being so foolish but I can't help

Edit : Congrats Yuzuru, in addition I just love Kozuka's FS :cheer:

Congrats!!

I wasn't too worried after he fell on the 4s, but was kinda "gasp!" with that first spin...it looked like he was in pain. And who said he was stubborn?? He went without the Bielmann Spin tonight like many of you hoped he would...hope he's back isn't hurting that much though.

Worst programming ever...FujiTV cutting away from the medal ceremony...oh well I guess news programs tomorrow will have it all. I had to laugh at how Kozuka and Shoma was both playing with their cellphones right before the ceremony and their our boy, famously without a cell...:) And Shoma still has no love for Hanyu-san; he went in for a hug and got no hug back! :laugh2:

Well done, kid!

(But that spin was so painful to watch..and also the 4S. He looked really tired. However, I love this program more and more.)

Congrats Yuzuru! Now get a good rest you earned it ;) and what a beautiful lutzes he did, shame about the salchow but he'll finally have more time to put it together.

Congratulations Yuzuru! 2-time GPF champion and now 3-time Japanese national champion  Now go rest you definitely deserve a break after all those competitions :cheer:

Congratulations Yuzuru! I was so worried after 4S fall and failed first spin but rest of the program was great! So much height and speed in and out of his jumps :cheer:

I really wonder why he can't do lutz in SP like here in FS. Those lutzes was to die for
His luzt is actually just as huge as his 3A, even bigger when he nails it.

Ps: I actually think his interpretation here is much better than at GPF. Some jumps look bigger as well.

just watched Yuzuru, the best POTO from him, like the little smile after he took off his mask in the middle part, the 2 lutz jumping pass is truly a thing of beauty. did he put on his mask again in the end before final spin.
Gosh, this kid is invincible, Long live the kid.

Congrats!!
