Happy new year, Yuzuru! I'm really sorry you'll need to spend it in the hospital cry, but hopefully that leads to a strong recovery and better luck at Worlds.

Yeah, a lot of pain for him this season. I hope this will just make him stronger mentaly and will come back strong at Worlds :agree:

Thanks for all the updates everyone and wishing all of you and yuzuru a happy new year!  

Wishing that 2015 will be extra kind to yuzuru after this eventful 2014 and hope he takes a good rest and recuperate for the whole 6 weeks that was given to him. I hope he doesnt overexert himself if he will try to defend his title at worlds or if he is worried about earning the spots for 2016 worlds.

Dont rush, just take your time to recover and comeback strong when you are TRULY ready!

Theres a chance he might reuse Chopin....if not this year, then maybe Olympic year? But I highly doubt he'll reuse POTO since it doesn't really carry very good memories with it. And I want to see something else from him since I'm meh about his POTO :think: Hopefully something from Jeffery? :agree:

I also would like to see Yuzuru using Ballade, mostly because is one of my favorite pieces for piano, but because we haven´t seem the real coreography been used to it´s full potential at competition.

I also think that using music like this allow him to grow in the artistical and interpretation department.

I do have some love from POTO, specially because while we have and idea of what Jeffrey wants for Ballade because of DoI, we never saw the coreography that Shae Lynn wanted to used for POTO, and by all accounts (Javier, Borser, Nam) it was amazing.

Don´t know if you can keep two programas for next season, but I would like to see both with a healthy, rested and well trained Yuzuru.

Since Yuzuru is so definite about retiring after the 2018 Olympics, I hope he would show new programs every season (if he can). It would be great to see what he'll have in store in the future competitive seasons. But first comes health! :think:

To be fair, he said he'll most likely retire after 2018 because his body probably can't handle another 4 years... But on the topic of reusing programs, even though I want to see as many new ones from him as we can, Chopin has a special place in my heart and I would be ecstatic if he brought it back for one more season :yes:

I sure hope so! Perhaps he'll change his decision after the 2018 Olympics or take a year off like Mao (half-half). However seeing what happened to Yuzuru the season after winning the OGM, I'm not sure if his body can hold up continuing this sport competitively after 2018.

I really hope he can stay relatively healthy until then and after as well. When you become a skater's fan, you wish they can skate forever (but that's completely unrealistic, I know). So all I'm hoping for now in the time being is for Yuzu to recover well this January!

The rumor startedbecause Yuzuruused a jacket from Nike (ANA) during Nationals that are particular to an exclusive line (Nike Elite) for baseball and that´s it´s newer product wasn´t avalaible in the market jet.

I think he won't save it for next season. Brian Orser clearly stated that they will try various styles for Yuzuru.

Thank you~ That sounds like an amazing opportunity for Yuzu if it's true :yay: Funny cause as I was watching the warm-ups, I thought to myself "that jacket looks really nice on him" as amazing as he looks in black, I love seeing him in white too. Isn't Kanako with Nike too? I remember seeing her in an ad with a sports company but don't remember which one it was....
