I had a feeling that might happen. (don't want to be the wise ****, but...)
Voronov has been criticized all season for his super long setup going into the 3A. Here, it really looked to me as if he tried to "keep it significantly shorter". Result: only a double.
(even if I just heard the BEsp commentator say that the setup before the axel was so long, I still think it was shorter today!)
