This speech looks like it was filmed the same time as his support message to the Japanese team for AFC 4 weeks ago. So maybe it was filmed before his surgery???

Another version already achieved that much before being taken down so he gas two 1000000+ video
I think that to be deemed viral it's both how fast and how above the expectation the video spread... even the 4 milion+ views that Jason Brown got are quite low compared to what some youtubers get on every video but it made quite a sensation because it was the first time that a figure skating video got that much visualization...

Anyway, It's just my impression, but young skaters these days seem to master 3A and quad jumps without much time lag.

EDIT: It is mentioned in the video that Yuzuru succeeded quad in the first grade of high school.

Sotas' jump quality is very impressive. He just needs to learn to handle his nerves better.
Hanyu landed his first 4T in competition when he was 15. --So probably had been trying it out before that...14?

Sota is not very good with axel though. I think quad is easier for boy with this noodle body type, look at Boyang, who landed quad when he was 13.

It looks like they were walking around and searching for people related to Yuzuru in his home town to ask directly about him and his family. His grandparents refused to talk and apologized. But I may be wrong. Even though this article is probably made up, I tried to translate it with google and it was pretty interesting. No critics and nothing displeasing about Yuzuru or his family. Actually the article seems quite warm as far as I could understand through google Of course should be taken with a grain of salt.
Btw, there was a "fellow skater" who said there is a "duality" in Hanyu. It was kinda funny because I noticed it myself.
