Good for Anna! A little dicey at some points but she fought for it. Bronze should be out of reach for anyone else now and realistically that's the best she probably could have hoped for. A great competition for her on her quest to cement herself as Russia's Number 3.

Anna made noticeable mistakes unlike her SP, but enough for the bronze I guess. She seems slower than at Nationals.

Number 3? No hope as far as I'm concerned.

Cinquanta yawning... the man is just a living faux pas

I wouldn't think too much of it. Speedy probably yawned during Mao's Sochi LP.

Too bad about the hand downs, but an overall improvement over the GPF and CoR. I don't remember how she did at Nationals. I know she was 3rd/4th, but was it a bad skate?

she is in another leage then the Skaters bevor but still this of Kind of meh... im am not going to remember this firebird

Two 2A - why didn't she add 2T at the end of one (like at Nationals when she struggled with 3Lz)? It's gonna make her score lower
Otherwise, I love everything in this program - music cut, choreography, how she expresses the music, her jumps. Maybe only spins could be better.

I think this was a great interpretation of firebird in the first half. In the second half she visibly lost steam though.:ohwell:

Pretty good effort from Anna jumps-wise. But she the skate, during the skate, and after the skate, she looked like she was going to cry. I don't think she captured "Firebird" on the night (EDIT: Er, day).

Best part: half loop combo. :yay: Worst part: he Biellmann and illusion spin. :hopelessness:.

Maybe not next year but for this her Worlds spot is definitely safe now. And we'll have to see what the Juniors can do next year- look at Lipnitskaia this year. At least Anna seems to have her grown up body which can't be underestimated.
