2015 Europeans Ladies Free Skate, Jan. 31

I was too! I don't know HOW IS SHE MANAGING WITH THIS? What kind of nerves does she have? Mishin is SOO right saying that the nerves depend on the level of preparation... and it is even without 3ple axel in her short! I am in awe...

He looked pretty nervous for her before she skated. He was looking at the ceiling like he was praying. But she is STEEL.

Tuktamysheva was incredible! The rivalry between her and Radionova this season has been so exciting. They seem to be pushing each other each competition.

Looking forward to seeing the protocols so I can see how many +3s she got on those jumps.

Liza dares judges not to let her win. She dares the fans not to love and admire her. She's the ageless grand dame. She is Queen Tukt. She rules. Don't you dare say otherwise.

That's probably the most happy 4th place finisher I've seen in some time!

Congrats to the medalists and to the final group for doing way better than the men.

(I'd note too that Liza and Elena also did GPF and Russian Nationals...why aren't they exhausted?)

Yes I have a small beef with the "easy" 3T3T, seeing how huge her Lutzes always are, it stands to reason she should have zero troubles with 3Lz3T.

However... unless IJS revamped their rules - the point total is the same, not counting the 10% bonus; there's no reward for doing more difficult combo if the sum of jumps are the same. It doesn't really matter whether she does a solo 3Lz then 3T3T, or a solo 3T then 3Lz3T. (again, not counting 10% bonus) If one must do easier combo, put them in the 2nd half. That's how you play the numbers game haha.

Can't wait for Sabin to upload Liza's program... in about 5 minutes, right?

You could have just one 3T and a second more difficult jump or something. It still seems like a waste.

THIS WAS A PERFECT COMPETITION. so happy the right Girl won, and what a result for swedish homecrowed!!!!!

Top 3 were so solid. (Still over the moon for Liza)
Helgessons did so well.
Kuchvalska is the equivalent of Bychenko.

Okay these questions are 0/10 and the interviewer's English is horrible. Tuktamysheva's "Hello" was super cute, though.
