Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Here it is. This was published today, and it's too beautiful not to share. It's classical ballet dancer Sergei Polunin dancing to "Take Me to Church" (Hozier). It's an emotional performance that I find very similar to those that Yuzuru produces when he is at his best and most focused (the latest being POTO at GPF). Now, if he could also replicate some of the exactness and sharpness of Polunin's movements...

really? I thought he only said he was doing some jumps but not further information.

There was new reply from him to japanese medai recently at 4CC that Yuzuru is already for 3 weeks on ice and slowly getting to shape. He is jumping quads and 3A, and 5 weeks should be enough to prepare well for Worlds

I see, thank you very much ;).

Sorry. That was my first post and I was so excited to find the news, I forgot to mention about the source.
According to Yahoo News and Asahi Degital News, in Seoul, Mr. Orser said, "Yuzuru started his practice on ice 3 weeks ago and has jumped even quads and 3As already. Everything's going OK so far, so, next week, he'll come back to Toronto, where he'll be able to prepare for WC." 3weeks ago? Just after he left the hospital? OMG!
My English is so poor, sorry again.

Your English is really great! Wow! Hanyu has so much talent! It would take me 3 weeks just to reacclimatize to the ice after surgery:big grin:Ok that was on exaggeration, but still! Go, Hanyu, go!!!

So all these time he has been able to fly under the radar at the same time commuting to the rink in Sendai for his practices? He really is a ninja!!

I am in awe that in this rampant SNS age, there wasn't even an oblique reference of a sighting in Sendai (most people were wondering if he is already in Canada from what I see on the net). Kudos to people of Sendai who obviously treasure their own very much and no wonder Hanyu-san only has the nicest thing to say about his home town!

Edit to add this link where Orser talked about how he is jumping 3A and quads already, plus calling his student "just like a machine"!!

yeah, I'm always impressed at how Sendai people respect his privacy.
Anyway, I'm glad he is returning to Toronto next week and finally work with Brian.

And in the same article, Mr order said that he's amazed by the recovery speed of yuzuru and says that he's like a machine. 😂😂

^^that reminds me of the comment made by a commentor saying that yuzuru is like a skating machine! I don't really know her name (can anyone clarify this for me? ) but it's from the cbc coverage of yuzuru's free share at Barcelona.

Hope he's really recovering well and not just pushing himself to train hard because the world's is approaching.....
