Thanks :)
So I won't worry if with my rusty Russian I don't understand anything the guy says

And welcome to the forum

No major errors. Good skate.

Unfortunately, they don't make me feel anything. :slink: Especially the dance-y bit... compared to what P/T did in the SP, it had nowhere the chemistry and tenderness.

Yes this. Her giant smile was so forced it actually almost looked like she was in pain.

We're allowed to ask/say if it's confirmed people are dating I think... we just aren't allowed to speculate on it beyond that.

To me today S/K just weren't convincing. But I do appreciate that so far it's technically the best we've seen.

It would help if he smiled more. It seems stupid but it really does make a difference. She's out there beaming away and selling it like the rent is overdue and he's very uhm stoic.

I quite like the idea of bilingual commentary :)

You're in Canada, right. So, how do they do the commentary there?

Is the skating shown on separate English and French channels, with their own commentary teams? Or, is it only shown with English commentary?

And, do you think bi-ligual commentary like they have in Kazakhstan would work in Canada?

:cheer: COME ON LUBOV AND DYLAN!!! :cheer:

It is rare that I complain that much about facial expressions, but could that have been any more of a mismatch? She had super fake smiles and he looked expressionless most of the time. Ugh.

Luba and Dylan looked a little tight but overall very nice. I TRULY am looking forward to seeing them develop over this quad. They already have a just wonderful chemistry, presence, and connection.

Some small rough patches, but wonderful for their first major event! Really interesting bits of choreography there.

That first lift was just sick -- who knew a human body could get into a position like that?

Yeah, it's rough around the edges, but boy they are fun to watch.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I LOVED S & K tonight. I am so proud of them for pushing themselves, upping the technical ante, and really enjoying themselves while skating. They are a classic extrovert/introvert couple, and their chemistry is palpable.

On I&M, I find Luba adorable, but she needs to take off all the circus makeup and show her naturally pretty face.
