omg!! still watching and yuzuru mimicking Javi again during michal's lp run through (at 16:15)!! lovee him
I can't access videos since I'm at work but the breath that I've been holding unknowingly is gone. :hopelessness: I guess all that talk about him leaving TCC got to me more than I thought. At the very least, everyones still on great terms with each other. :yay:

As long as he's not troubled, frightened or stressful skating in such enormous pressure and expectations, and smiling, being lively and cheerful, it's good enough for me given his difficult season
All these updates on his practice sessions (falling and popping jumps) are freaking me out, BUT I need to stay positive. He's a fighter. I think Yuzuru does well under pressure and expectations (Worlds 2013, 2014...of course there was Sochi but I'm gonna leave that one out, hehe). But boy, when the competition matters, you better believe he's gonna go out there and fight for those jumps.
To be honest this reports are overrated in bad way for what actually his practices looked. Runs with music were shakky, but besides that he is nailing jumps. In GPF practice before FS he missed ALL quad salchow attempts until music started play, and here he is pretty consistently nailing quad salchow so far so let's chill a little

Yeah, I will. I'm not freaking out too much. If I recall, his first FS run at the GPF practice session was filled with mistakes, but that didn't stop him from taking the gold. He's just warming up.

What surprised me a bit is that this is probably the first time I saw him being conservative about his results in competition. He used to be so bold in talking about his aims. Even in NHK, he said he aims the top. This time, he said he just wants to be himself...

Thanks for sharing! It was great to see him out there doing his thing with Borser and Pooh at the boards as usual. It was reassuring for me to watch and I thought he did well. A few miscues on the quads, but then it seemed he corrected that by the end of the session. Beautiful step sequences as always. I'm more concerned about his stamina, but overall I think he'll be fine. Maybe not at his best, but ready to go out and compete for it. I agree with other posters... it is enough that he's there and seems happy. :agree:
I am not worrying about it. To me it is not a sign of lack of confidence. I think after firing up (through struggles) for most of the season, he now is calm and concentrates on what he can do. I honestly think this approach (including getting away from the media entirely in the past three months) is very natural for him at this time, and it is part of him getting mature. I love to see his fighting spirit in the competition, and I don’t mind if he does not show it in his words (somehow I prefer this way as he matures).
I also remember in TEAM BRIAN, Brian says Yuzu needs to learn not always put 100% in practices and “peak” before the competition. I think he did well in the practices, with good control of his body and his mind. He is in good shape. I feel good about him.

Apparently Denis Ten watched (maybe he was just happened to be at the rink at the same time) Hanyu-san's practice at the practice rink yesterday and the newspaper this morning are all over this rivalry. I guess the Japanese media loves the rivalry angle above anything...

Gotta love Japan.
One of the American singers I follow did some promo in Japan and was asked who his greatest rival was. He said no one because there's room for everybody in music etc. Poor guy didn't even know that in Japan you should have rival. There's that golden trio every hero should have: a rival, a best friend and a love interest (as far as I can tell from all the anime I've watched). The media have got the best friend but not other two, and it's probably easier to make up a plausible rivarly for Yuzuru than a plausible love interest. 
I mean, the photo of him looking in somebody's eyes and it's Brian Orser.
