Maybe... or it's too soft. But it also seems like some of the girls who have popped jumps are rushing their takeoffs. But it seems the ice is being a factor.

There was a Worlds a few years ago where the ice was terrible too.. anyone remember which one?

Nice 2012. The ice gave a lot of problems to some skaters, probably because of the warm climate (?)

Stupid question - but is there something that can be done to fix the ice quality before pairs (or even for the final groups here)? What would cause it - the wrong settings on the Zamboni or just the general air temperature inside the rink?

True. Also, regarding the falls... quite a few girls are going for the 3-3, instead of the easy 3-2, resulting in a fall.

I remember when 4CC was held at high altitude Colorado and Men were dropping like flies, until the last group came out and changed the energy and showed how they were the best in the world. I think the best Ladies will do the same here, whatever ice condition is claimed to be.
