Gracie with no combo and sloppy performance beat Wagner on both TES and PCS. Ashley wasn't great, but that's just not right.

I'm so sad for Ashley right now. All those expectations and hopes of finally ending the medal drought for US ladies...it's just really, really sad. She's made a habit of coming back in the FS, but barring total disaster from other skaters, she's off the podium.

I hope the disaster of the US ladies tonight means the US men skate well.

Wow. I didn't realize the last time we had a lady on the Worlds podium was 2006 - the year Kimmie Meissner won. Sasha Cohen also stood on the podium that year with a bronze medal.

Sam's slow motion clip of Satoko's jump is enough. Satoko pre rotates her 3F almost a rotation on toe pick, and today it's not much different. I'd say the TES for her is under deserved.

And seriously I am not a big fan of Kanako at all, but she deserves to be higher than Satoko TODAY.

A slow motion clip doesn't prove any rigging by the Japanese Federation.

And you may not like Satoko's jumps, but everything else she does, she does exceptionally well.
