RUNNER-UP SILVER MEDALIST YUZURU HANYU IS STILL THE KING OF THE ICE
And Fuji TV: Post FS Interview
Same here, can not take one week off at the end of March. Hopefully they would put mens and ladies competition together to the end.
Hi everyone. This is my first post ever after lurking here for quite some time.
I watched Men's SP and LP live with my boyfriend at a cafe. I pinched my boyfriend's arm so hard when Yuzu fell lol I need to check him later if he sustain some bruises (hope not!)
It was a bitter sweet ending. I'm sad Yuzu unable to perform at his best, but I'm truly glad Javi took the gold. Yuzu also wouldn't be happy if he won with that performance, and the fans feel the same. I was in tears when he screamed. It says a lot how much he fought for it. Regardless of the result, he is still the kingno one can take it away from him. even my boyfriend who is a casual viewer and doesn't know much about figure skating said, "this guy is something. even from far away, you can feel he is looking at you. no wonder he is an Olympic champion."
this is a huge lesson for yuzu. now yuzu knows that he can't push his limits all the time because this can affect him for a long run. listen to your body and rest when you need it. i know yuzu will come back stronger next season and can't wait to see his progress/developmenti believe in him.
and it was so heart-warming to see yuzu fans are supportive of javieven my boyfriend was amazed by the comradeship shown by yuzu's fans. you guys rocks

i'm gona livestreaming the gala later with my boyfriend again. so excited already!

thank you the information ! I cant imagine how he feels inside his body omg .....
Additionally, in the main page you have a small interview at the question : "Why don’t you rest. Why did you compete even when you are in such a state.”
Here his answer : " Because I am a skater who is still currently active in the field. There is no other reason. There is no strange feeling about it, as a representative of Japan, there is a sense of duty that I have to skate and compete. With regards to my injury and accident here (COC is held in the same country and venue as Worlds 2015), it is due to my own carelessness, and insufficient self-management. I believe I need to reflect deeply on it, and even though others might say it is bad luck, I believe it is still due to my insufficient self-management.“
_>>100% yuzu-self ...So hard himself

When I went to Worlds 2009 in LA I bought individual tickets in late fall and had great seats for all the finals with the exception of the ladies event. For the SP's I was able to move closer to the ice as there were quite a few empty seats. The TC Garden in Boston is large so I expect it will be similar. My plan is to fly in on Tuesday and attend events beginning Wednesday. Given the popularity of skating in the US (not so much), I don't think it will be too difficult to get tickets up until the event.

Just want to say, I'm very glad to see that Yuzu's fans are so supportive of Javi's win. Great sportsmanship

I didn't post often due to busy RL sched but just feel like sharing a things or two about WC2015 like everyone else
I've read many who are quite sad about him getting silver but I think for me its congrats for your silver Yuzuru! His SP despite the mistake on quad is just simply beautiful! Tho his GPF version feel a little bit smoother than the WC15 one but his SS at world just blows me away especially the 2nd half of his program. Am I the only one who feel his last spin is the best he has done so far? So beautiful!! (Coz he usually lost it a little bit on his last spin ^^;![]()
As for the FP, again too bad about the quads but after that instead of giving up he just attack every single element. It just feel so powerful the way he did the element with this fierce and hunger but can go total opposite in the slow part of the song. Bravo! Not enough to win but a splendid performance indeed!
Also before the men SP and FP I'm freaking nervous (never good of watching competition live-a fan of MU and Andy roddick in tennis) but I never really mind whether he should win or not but rather if he will be happy with his skate or not. Unfortunately he isn't as we can see him practicing the entry to quad whenever he can... however on the bright side this defeat seems to spark a new fire in him (not that he didn't has it already before but it was dim with expectation and pressure) I'm sure in the next season barring any injuries (please don't > <) Yuzuru will come out all gun blasting starting with Finlandia Trohpy like his usual tradition before. His fighting spirit really is like a Phoenix like some said~ and like phoenix it is a circle of life~ he is now just rising from the ashes building up from this challenging season. Vamos Yuzu!
and I just read that Yuzuru attempted Quad Toe at Gala practice hitting 4/5... This kid...![]()

It's raining Winnie Pooh bears!1(-4) from nikkan sport.
He had an emergency operation the end of last year.He feared to take away his bellybutton.
He thout of horizontally linearly cut(lapalotomy),he couldn't stop feeling anxious. He begged "Please make a bellybutton"
Fortunetaly it need not doing, a side cut 4cm semicircular, but he groaned with pain of removing urrachus. After surgery he stayed hospotal at Tokyo.
He expressed "It hurts" because of couldn't toss about in bed. 12/31(The bell is ringing out the Old Year), 1/12(Coming of Age Day;know very important for Japanese), he still remained on the bed. He couldn't even take a commemorative photo. Ope scar remains suture anchor.
Janiary, he sprained his ankle, it was severe though he couldn't walk, and he needs a taping until now.
Owing to injurey, the practice was limited one or two hours per day three times a week before competition.
He couldn't lay stress on his abdomen which is key of jump. No wonder he couldn't jump like the original height and speed of revolution.
But he holded out.
This is heartbreaking to read.....I can't even imagine what he was feeling.....
