Thank you. I really didn't see any flaws in the FS other than the first two jumps. But it seems like most people thought his other jumps were not very good either. I didn't think the GOEs were generous for what he did. I thought they were fair GOEs. Am I just a blind fan that could not see his flaws?

I agree with you. His GOE was very fair. Actually now when I rewatch it, his jumps were not as bad as I first thought. His air position in the first 3A was good, second 3A a bit tilled but even when he is healthy sometimes it's tilled so it's not big problem when he landed it. His 3lz has become much better than the beginning of this season. And seriously am I the only one think that his 3lz might be bigger than his 3A?
Most of his jumps are overall okay even though not the quality of his National free skate. His landing position was a bit lean forward but that's to be expected because of the surgery in the abdominal area, not to mention he was coachless for 3 months. He definitely needs about 2 more weeks of training. But this is quite good already.

Such is a subjective sport. There will always be opinions on both spectrum, blindness does not only apply to fans lol :sarcasm:
 
Kurt Browning (he is the one that commenting in the gala as well right?) just a fan of Yuzu like us....am glad that he also want to see a rockstar Yuzu in gala. Please Kurt tell Yuzu to do a rock number next time...please please :cheer2:

I wish Yuzu did this "Change" in the gala yesterday, as I want to see how the audience will screaaaaaaaaam and go ga ga :rock:. I think they will throw themselves down on the ice instead of pooh :laugh2:

Yeah, Kurt Browning is very fond of Yuzu. You can tell just by the way he talks about Yuzu. I prefer Yuzu skating to something more masculine. Yuzu does have that rock star aura. It seems that there are many commentators that are Yuzu's fans.

Yes, something more energetic would be great. Or something completely weird and fun would be amazing, too. I dunno why but Yuzu skating to the music from The Nightmare Before Christmas seems like a good idea in my head. He'd be the perfect Jack Skellington XD

Yeah, commentators all around the world love Yuzuru. I assume you've seen this video of how commentators from different countries like him. There's other of Worlds 2012 focused on the moment where he fell and nailed his 3A+3T, and another of Worlds 2014.

I don't know where this idea comes from, but I so love it!! + 1, YES PLEASE!!!
If he does decide, for whatever reason, to skate to PotO again next season, I'm going to be a very sad fan indeed. :(

I guess because I've just rewatched the film and the soundtrack is one of my favs and I also found that Jack and Yuzu have very long limbs. :dance: and I don't think Yuzu has done something of a similar sort before (?) :cheer2:

I think Yuzu can try Jazz too? like the 'sing sing sing' one? He skated cutely there.... I wonder his performance here has been shared before:

Anyone has the information if Yuzuru landed the 4Lo in gala practice or not? In interview he said he tried it but he didn't say he landed it.
