Misha Ge's 2015 World Championships Gala Highlights video. Yuzu is very cute and definitely having a lot of fun....so happy that he is happy like that

I respectfully disagree with Borser’s statement , Yuzuru didn't need Borser to win over Javi when Nanami was his coach, it was ALREADY more Yuzu on TOP...
In 2011-2012 season Nanami's kid had better results than Orser's student, despite a younger age, very poor facilities, 60 summer ice shows…… and an unknown japanese coach .

Yuzuru placed first at Nebelhorn Throphy , Javi placed fourth
Yuzuru won the Rostelecom Cup over Javi who was in second.
Yuzuru lost to Javi in the GPF ( Javi won the bronza medal over Yuzu).
Yuzu won the bronze medal at 2012 World in Nice with a legendary FS, Javi placed nine.
If we compare the last season Yuzu trained under Nanami , Yuzu defeated Javi 3 out of four times.No doubt team YUZU-Nanami was stronger than team Javi-Borser .
Then JSF decided to hire Borser via JOC money.They never gave Caesar what is due.

That's not how I understood it. To me, he meant that after Yuzuru arrived, he was clearly ahead more than before. He did say that Javier was sometimes ahead of Yuzuru, not often.

He actually commands us with his smiles and 'cuteness' off ice and his "fierceness" on ice .......it really reminds me of how Tracy Wilson described him that when he skates it's as though there was someone controlling him from within and after that he reversed back to his boyish and normal self. (can't remember the exact wordings though ) I guess we can say that he commands us in different when he's on-ice and off-ice! He's such a person with so many different faces which really attracts me!

Thanks, that's a great interview indeed - pretty good questions. And Brian answers them in quite a detailed, not wishy washy way I like how he was honest that if Javier and Yuzu had similar personalities, it would be more difficult to coach them (more comparisons). Also, he spoke quite frankly about Yuzu's challenges (pressure of being Olympic champ, doing shows, endorsements), which was interesting to hear.

LOL, the host was obviously in favor of Yuzu, and he may be a good presentation of the Chinese in general (including myself - although I appreciate Javi very much, and like him more and more). I just feel it is a bit ...unprofessional for him to take sides...he seemed to only care about Yuzu. Another fanboy!

Maybe he is a fanboy. Maybe also because the Chinese audience mostly only cares about Yuzu. I mean most of the audience in the arena came only for Yuzu. So as a host, you want to ask questions that the audiences want to ask.

It's not terrible when he's performing, he's improved a lot. But when he isn't, however, he is slouching so I'm guessing some people are harping on that.

Actually their complain is relevant to his old performance, when he was no where near healthy, especially in season 2012-2013. His Notre programs I have to say was very glaring with poor posture. In season 2013-2014 he improved a bit in expresion and posture.
This season is a huge leap forward. I didn't know what happened. But he is no wet noodle as people complain anymore. If anything they're still stuck in his poor performances in previous seasons.
Obviously Yuzuru still needs to improve his posture, extension, skating skill and consistency (this has to do with his health, though). But he has improved a lot, which means he pays attention to it.

Yeah, its pretty noticeable when he's not performing. Its funny because IMO, its gotten better on-ice but worst off-ice Which means he really takes people's critques into consider and pays alot of attention to the details :thumbsup:

His posture has improved a lot, but let's just say it's not perfect yet. You can't really see it when he does the ocassional spiral or so , but it becomes more noticeable by the end of his FS when he's tired, or when he's off the ice still, you can see he's been working on it.

And I don't know if anyone's posted this, because I've only seen small clips of Yuzuru's announcement for WTT, but this video is longer and has (what I assume is) small interviews with each single skater.
