Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

ahhh i was hoping for some english conversation too  i am glad he didnt choose something else and continued to be our prince :yay:

Its already out.

I didnt know he planned to quit figure skating. Good thing he didnt quit. And now he is the Olympic champ.

Finally it's here! I have been looking forward to it and kept following the channel for the clip! I thought it might have been better if they made a playful clip instead (though I really love the interview) :)

I think there's an interview (an interview programme he attended with Dai after 2012 worlds) where he also said that he since he loved baseball and his first coach is very fierce, he almost quited fs. Thank goodness he never quit, or else we would never have witnessed such a living legend in our lifetime!

Finally we have that video! Thank you ISU :) I'm so glad he sticked to figure skating, although some say he's got a good throwing arm, I think he was, as Denis said, kind of born to skate. He has such a natural talent and flow across the ice, marvelous to watch.

And I'm sorry but his arms in the video are too distracting for me sorry not sorry

Can you please translate what they left out? Thank you. :)
It's just little nuances here and there that I thought were different.
I thought about quitting skating many times. I love baseball, so I thought about doing that.
But from the depths of my heart I love skating. So, though on the surface I may feel I want to quit, or I want to continue, I’ll always love figure skating.
Above is my slightly different translation of the last bit.
However, I'm not a professional translator either, so if anyone else has another opinion about it do correct it.

i guess his baseball throwing arms are really superb since kurt browning keep praising them !

I saw a video with him doing pitching but I don't know how to differentiate a good ball from a bad one.

Edit: yuzu's bright smile make me very curious about what's being shown to him by borser

If you feel it`s a better translation then could you post it under ISU`s video so people were able to read it on comments` section.
I think it sounds more like Yuzu.
Since simple "sometimes I want to quit, sometimes I want to skate" is too simple for Yuzu.

+3...... Newbiespectator, do post your translation to under the ISU video! So that people can understand in more depths what yuzu is saying :)
