Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Err... just saw the EX list and I'm a bit like :unsure: Some skaters are not even present: No Nam, no Zijun... and Javier and Denis are skating twice. I wonder why? What a weird decision.

don't also get why they're skating twice, if my memory serves me right I think denis also performed twice when he was invited last 2013 WTT

Yeah, I mean, sure we love them, but why giving them skating twice instead of adding 2 more skaters? I wouldn't have like it if it was Yuzu whi skated twice either. I mean, I'm like "Hey. There're other skaters that we love too, you know." Yan is not listed either. It's a shame, I think.:shrug:

Do you remember Yan's EX from worlds? I love Yan, but I don't think I want to see it again...

Mmm, ok, I see what you mean. But, really, I just wish there were more diversity in the skaters list. I understand why so many Japanese skaters (and american since they won the event), but I just wish they had chosen 2 more skaters instead of putting Javi and Denis twice.
 
Ok. I'm going to spoil the happiness and say PW?????????????? wHY???? :disapp: I hope next season we will see some real EXs from him. He usually reuses the exhibitions from japanese shows that are put in like, 1, 2 days, and it's evident at the choreography. The program that I don't mind him recycling for an EX is Chopin but just for at maximum 2 times.

Sorry, my selfish side is just hoping to get the most out of him in those 3 years :laugh:

I don't get it either unless it is Yuzu who skates twice :biggrin:. But I think maybe it's because they are guest skaters. They asked them to fly to Japan all the way so it's better to let them skate twice?

I also want to see a new ex from him but I think with everything that happened post-oly and the shenanigans of this season maybe he just didn't had the time to do one. His last real ex was way back 2012 so I also really hope we'll see a new one for the next season but for now let's just enjoy PW :biggrin: I really want to see something japan-esque ex from yuzu :o:

They invited all of team USA and team Japan and then top 3 for each category in the FS. So as much as I love Zijun she finished only 6th. Nam also finished 6th so it makes sense they are not invited. But then they invited Sergei who finished behind Yan Han so that's weird. Maybe because the crowd loved his FS so much? And somehow they also invited Florent who finished last lol. I didn't know he was that popular but he was invited at Worlds gala two, so idk!

And he's the tallest! :) (I suppose he is since he spreaded his legs a bit in the photo and still looked taller than the others)
He's just impossible to hate really!!!!

And I have now successfully made my mum kinda interested in fs now :biggrin: and I guess I might spread my IHYS to her soon if I make her watch more of yuzu with me :laugh:

anyone want to see Yuzu performing to James Bond or songs like that? Maybe Pink Panther sounds good too?
His mission impossible sp from the past looks cool too (though he was much younger and still not very manly at that time!)

Omg, I have totally made my mum interested in fs too - well, mostly in Yuzuru tbh. She totally has IHYS. She really thinks he has no faults :laugh: (except for not putting his health first)
 
Yuzuru says bye to christine (i think more like to his POTO, this season but didnt want to change the users idea XD), its these little things he does gets me everytime, i think thats why he is one of the most artistic if not the most artistic skater out there

Oh my! That's too dramatic for my little heart! He really puts his soul into every performance, and this really shows how much he loves poto! Too bad he wasn't able to skate perfectly with this program (as in full layout)....

I'd love to think the goodbye is for Christine too :biggrin: since it fits the story more!~

edit: the poster of the same post quoted added some details and a video with yuzu confirming that he's indeed saying farewell to christine!~

I don't get why Florent either, lol! I know Brian is popular in Japan, but Florent? Well, I don't know why but if they want him there, ok I guess.
I'm happy Sergei is there, tho. Despite all the up and down during WC and WTT, he had quite an amazing season. :yes:

There's a few pics here and there, from the banquet. After Yan's, there's another pic of Zijun with Yuzu. :biggrin:
Oh, and Javier was at the banquet. I hope there'll be a pic of him and Yuzu coming soon.

I see no match in the outfits/colours, but Kanako's outfit is very lovely. :love:
