Cup of China Nov. 6-8
Does anyone know the place? I wish it were in Beijing, then I might have a slight chance to visit it... All other competitions next season are either too far away or have bad timing for me.

I believe it was stated a couple pages back that CoC would be in Beijing (not sure if that was confirmed 100%).
Massive exam for me then too.
BTW, are you by any chance studying classics? Just got the idea from your username.
what a North American problem, the GP event in the other country is closer to me than the one in my own country
Las Vegas?Do they even have an ice rink there? Would be interesting to see, though
By the way, congratulations on the baby!! (I hope I'm reading your comment correctly and not just spewing something weird out)
Not classics because I have no skills for foreign languages, let alone dead ones. I study literature, and I'm really into myth/classics in translation.
It's such a shame that the figure skating season is the same time as the university season, which makes travel impossible (not that I could afford it anyway without making some severe sacrifices.)
Ah, very cool! I was just asking because classics was one of my majors in undergrad (the other being biochemistry).
And same, traveling is so difficult and expensive! Oh well, one day it'll work for us after our schooling days are over... however long that may be.![]()
), I could be Porcia, Appius, Aurelia, Cibaria or Locutula. Too late now
By the way, congratulations on the baby!
[We] are in the process of building one, but it won't be done until next year. I think it's a small one…
I do wonder - any thoughts on what skaters are likely to be host picks in the different disciplines/GP events?
I wonder...If Mao comes back, could she be a host pick for NHK? or would Satoko/Riko/Kanako already get NHK. There can only be 3 skaters from one country at any particular grand prix event, right?
