Grand Prix Speculation 2015-2016

I feel like Elizabet may move up, since Brian Orser is her coach and he recently moved Nam Nguyen to seniors this year, relatively early (at 16). Seeing what they decide to do will be interesting. I hope Maria Sotskova will stay a Junior and become more confident and consistent before moving up to Seniors. I was assuming that Yuka Nagai was going to move up, but I couldn't think of any other eligible skater that hadn't announced they were going to move up yet. Yuka placed 6th at four continents, so it seems now is a decent time to move her up. This season is already shaping up to be interesting

Madison Hubbell/Zachary Donohue may go to Skate Canada. I like Madison Hubbell, She looks like Grace Kelly.

I don't know if this fits here or in the stupid questions thread but, is there a way V/T can get 2 spots?

I think they're guaranteed one GP with their World Standing, and the second can be as a host pick for CoR...?

They can also use comeback status provision, since they were in the top 6 within the last 10 years. However, they might want to see if they can get 2 spots without it.

LOL, USFS really should just announce it now.

Guessing this will be the venue. Huge plus is that it's right downtown near lots of restaurants. Lake Michigan isn't too far. The city has a nice art museum. You can either fly into Milwaukee directly or o'Hare near Chicago (1.5 hour drive).

I have fond memories of the place since I lived there one summer for an internship. The city has gotten a lot cooler since then.

So it is the mid-west again! Milwaukee should be drive-able for me, or perhaps Amtrak if I don't feel like dealing with traffic.

Oh this is exciting. SA was literally right in my backyard last year and Milwaukee is certainly a very easy drive. SA was the very first competition that I attended live and I am hooked

Love doing Amtrak. Done the Milwaukee to Chicago route a few times---so easy peasy. :)

Lol, takes me a day by train to get to Milwaukee  By plane, a few hours but double the price....

What I need are the dates rather than locations tbh. :bang:
