Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

In your opinion what is the reason he was not invited for Worlds 2013 Gala given that he was the Japanese National Champion and also place 4th at Worlds 2013?

I don't know. I only know Yuzu was not invited, I think to say this is due to YUZURU, who skated injured in Nice Gala.

My apologies, not arguing just trying to find out whether there was any other reason

Only 25 people voted when you posted it, now 124 people voted....I'll be deadly honest, Yuzuru is the most popular skater of the moment  (I think "I'll be deadly honest" will be used a lot next season hahaha)

:laugh2:

Thanks for the link. If this was included in the video Yuzu can get more votes from non-fans:laugh:
They called him a Terminator on Russian Eurosport for killing it with 3 quads in LP in his best years. He was spectacular.;)
Wow! 3 quads in lp in his time is incredible:shocked:

His injuries at Nice and at London were not the same, really (As you were in this thread from long before, you should remember).
Sometimes skaters can perform injured but it doesn't mean they shall skate with any injury, there are limits after all (otherwise Yuzu would have skated at CoC and JC Galas :sarcasm: )

yes , I remeber it very well! Japanese doctors wanted Yuzu to WD in Nice, because the night before his Etude SP he couldn't even walk , but he absolutely wanted to compete and we all know the reasons why… he thanked his right sprained ankle at the end of R&J 1 FS, right before he started crying.
In that precise moment his legend began, so happy I was there to cheer for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tears all around!!!!:bow::bow:

FaOI will be broadcast live on May 30th in Japan on the BS Asahi channel. It will be broadcast again on June 6th.
Yay!
are you kidding me? you mean there's an actual chance for me to get video of the exact show that I'll be seeing? that's it, I now fully expect to lose my luggage, break a leg or fall into a volcano, because I'm usually not that lucky :laugh2: there has to be a catch.

Guys, FaOI has been broadcasted live the years before, so were other ice shows, and we knew for months that it would be broadcast, so what's so surprising about it?

well, there is always a possibility that they decide not to broadcast it, we should always be gratefull and not take anything for granted

Ok, good point. They'd have to face an army of angry mobs if that were to happen, tho. ;) I wanna see Yuzu and Johnny live! (well on TV for this, but still live!)
