Miki had a bizarre fall at the Medal Winners Open 2015. Just skating backwards and both feet flew forward and she landed on her back.

Could someone with skating knowledge explain what might have gone wrong?

Looks like she shifted the weight too early. If you distribute your weight improperly on the blade - too far back - the skating leg can sort of "shoot" out from under you, and then it's very hard to get the other leg into position to save it. The heel of the blade is very unforgiving - it can be hard to recover a fall off that. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

That should totally only count as one fall. Or at least only get -2 GOE, i mean, it does show they are well matched as skaters, they kept the unison consistent.

Topped off by her Fusar-Poli glare at the end. (Hey, sometimes we have to laugh about these things, because the alternative is crying all the time).

OMG that was a BFP glare from Wenjing! Although she didn't really do her part on the flip throw and the SBS triples. It was probably more frustration at both of them... probably one of their worst skates. But look at where they are today!
