Face it- everyone would complain that Jeremy was taking a GP spot away from a deserving skater if he was in.
Could someone explain if Mao will actually be at both her GP events? Last I checked her team had said that GP series may be unlikely. Maybe I missed some piece of news... (?)
It seems weird to me that Ashley was not picked for SA being as she is the current National champ.

I want to focus on nationals and worlds
Abbott said that if he could land two quads (toe and salchow) by the end of June, that he would continue with his competitive plans.

Jeremy should probably just get it over with and retire. Not competing before Nationals isn't going to help him when the other men will be just starting to peak at Nationals.
I'd die for posibility to go for NHK (most interesting GP this year's for me)
Russia could have more - Sakhanovich (6th on SB) and Sotskova (15th on SB, ahead Tursynbaeva, Miller, Meite etc etc etc) will be at JGP instead of GP.US gets 15 slots (17 last year). Russia only 14 slots, Japan 15 slots.
Who could that CoR spot be assigned to? Is Artemieva going to compete next season, too? Or Stavitskaya?

Stavitskaya is a dancer now being coach by Zhulin. I guess it will go to Artemieva since she's the only senior with 1 event, if Sot declines.
No Stavitskaia - she moved to ice dance.Who could that CoR spot be assigned to? Is Artemieva going to compete next season, too? Or Stavitskaya?
I hope he will come to Finlandia Trophy....
Anton ShibnevI hadn't heard that! That's a shame. I liked Maria Stavitskaya (as I do with Maria Artemieva as well). But, with the Ladies field being so deep in Russia, it is probably wise for her to get out of the lion's den.
Personally, I would have preferred Stavitskaya to stay in Singles and switch to representing her homeland (she's Ukrainian). But given the current relations between Russia and the Ukraine, I'm not surprised she didn't opt for that move. It could have turned out very messy!
Do we know yet who Maria's partner will be?
