Well, from what Eteri is saying it seems that Yulia got the priority. She said "we had limited funds, only 1 program for Adian and 3 for Yulia." So I don't think she paid with her own money. Although she doesn't specify who's money but I guess they had funds.

Yulia did not get the priority.

Good. But I was judging based on what Eteri was saying. She didn't specify where the money came from, she just said "we had limited funds only for Yulia's 3 programs and Adian's 1 program." Therefore the deduction was she got the priority, which wasn't meant as a bad thing by the way.

I understand, Alba. But I specifically quoted the Eterys words about the sponsor in the Russian language. In the first version of the article had no words about the sponsor. This information was added to avoid unnecessary questions about money (see the link above). According to the coach it is clear that Adidas paid.

I know it's lame but even though I've already been wearing Adidas shoes for years I started buying more of their gear. Like instead of an under armor or Nike dry fit shirt I'm getting the Adidas ones. The way I see it......they know a good thing when they see it.

Ah so you mean this was not translated in the english version on FSU?! Interesting...
I didn't paid any attention at first, if the link in russian you copied was the same as the one used for the translation on FSU. Now, I see it's the same one. ;) Thank you for clearing that. :thumbsup:
 
I guess it's more like Yulia got the fund from her sponsor while Adian did not. It's more logic that way as Yulia got 3 programs.

Well, that point is cleared now without guessing, thanks to lenok. :) She did indeed got funds from Adidas for her 3 programs.
The info was added later in the original article. That's why it was missing in the original translation on FSU.

It looks beautiful! :love: One thing is for certain, she is growing up into a young lady right in front of our eyes. She just looks so noticeably comfortable and at home out there. I just don't know if anyone has ever interpreted music the way she does. The unique movements aside...I think the way she processes the music is in a different way than most. I'm not sure how to explain it other than saying the music is alive inside of her. It's not like she is selling herself and performing for us but rather she is selling herself and performing for the music. Does that even make sense:laugh:

That's good because the way it was originally reads negative of Yulia... that she gets 3 programs, 1 of which is an exhibition skate, and Adian only gets 1 program. That makes a ton more sense when its added that her sponsor paid for her programs.
