Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

He said that after the surgery he had lost the feeling of his muscles that he used to have. So when he performed his jumps he could not do that based on his previous feeling. He has to train the quads and get a new feeling of performing them perfectly. He basically has to build both his stamina and the feeling of a perfect body muscles work for successful jumps.
He'll hold well, remember he now knows the need to look after himself, but at the same time he needs to keep his quads in good condition, specially if he's going for 3 in the FS. Besides, it's not anything out of the ordinary to see him go a little crazy with the quads. Remember Nam said Yuzu jumped like 40 4T and 40 4S per training session (not sure if it would be as much as 40 but that must mean he goes for them a lot on daily basis)

It's a summary of what the interview with Yuzu will be about, but this bit struck me...
'My life so far has followed the plans I set up as a child' says Hanyu-Senshu. Then the talk turns to what he plans to do after retirement.

I remember how Yuzuru said then that he wanted to be Olympic champion in the Olympics after Vancouver, did some mental math, and then said with a sense of wonderment that he will be 19 by that time (as if 19 was old
).What he does after retirement (and with whom) interests me.
Beautiful, shows how balletic that program is. Thanks for sharing matmuh. For me the entirety of it from the beginning where he stands still for some moments allowing the music to wash over him to the end where he raises his hands and then clenches his fists as if trying to still hold on to the music as it ends was so evocative.

Yes, he's trying to regain muscle memory of his jumps, particularly that quad toe which let him down at Worlds. Anyway, with Brian there, I don't think we will have to worry too much about him overtraining.

Definitely was waiting for him to go on Kenji's Room. But September....so far away...it'll be old news then! (Sorry I shouldn't complain but I am ) I think for life after retirement he'll say something along the lines of pushing for better skating environment in Japan and especially Sendai. He is always thinking/saying about what he can do for his country/hometown.

My eyes a bit grew wet to see wonderful blog. It’s very artistic and beautiful, and I feel true heart for yuzu. What’s more, layout is well constituted! It took you a considerable amount of time… Later I will have time to read more. Thank you for sharing.

Can I ask you guys a favor? Im making a website and its about Yuzuru, but I cant come up with a name for the site! So I was wondering if you guys can come up with something creative. All the generic names are taken so im at a loss...any suggestions will help. Thanks

It looks optimistic for 4S, that he landed it again
but as expected, no tv when he does it clean, so we won't see
