Sergei Voronov

Oh so it's like "cool". ;)

Yeah, and a lot of hipster men have beards, so I guess that's how Stalin fits in.

And here's the video. The test skate version was better. :slink: But I'm sure he and Eteri's team know what they need to do from here.

Good job Sergei! I can't see him finishing lower than 2nd (if Konstantin does well - could go either way). I was hoping to see a new costume...surely he will have one for the Grand Prix?

Something had to be wrong...he looked so slow and nothing was working, but then again, nobody was really in perfect form here. I just hope it isn't anything serious. It looked like he was crying or about to cry.

It's actually a relief to know there's a reason for his bad skate. He'll do better next time! :cheer:

I sadly can not open the link where it says that he had a high temperature, but in the interview he talks about his disappointment and that he doesn't feel worthy to be on the podium after what he performed. He also talks about making smarter decisions next time, as today his will to perform and make a good skate was stronger than the common sense and he only made it worse now.

He also mentions that a competitor doesn't find excuses like sickness after he was on the ice.
