Yep, me too.
I kinda liked only Yanovskaia/Mozgov and Guignard/Fabbri. Even my faves Hurtado/Diaz have disappointed me.

Yeah, I had low expectations. I think a lot of teams tried to go unconventional, but I'm just not sold. I hope all of the programs improve, or it'll be another year where I multitask during the SD for the most part

Or Bobrova and Soloviev. Both teams looked better than W&P so far, IMO, from how I would score it. Why is Elvis dancing with one of the chaperones at the prom???
Perhaps Kaitlyn's costume is not finished???I liked H&B's dance from a choreographic standpoint, particularly the non-waltz part that the audience really clapped for. Needs work, though. They didn't get the Worlds TES

I'll reserve my opinion till I watch the whole thing, but in overall based on what we've had a chance to see so far about SD I am quite disappointed and bored...Guess I'll have always on my mind the perfect walz patterns performed by Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir (SD 2010/11 season, CD in 2009/10 season) - yes, I know it was Golden Waltz, not Ravensburger but nonethenless everything wa there - speed, flow, musicality, pure class...
W/P to me just seemed to be trying too hard to up the anti and they lost some of the smoothness they had before. Maybe it will come as they get use to the programs more. I know they are probably pushing themselves to get to the top of podium but you can't lose sight of what your strengths are.

Agree on both points. Maybe they've missed some training time because of Kaitlyn's injury? It explains the lack of quality of their technical elements, but doesn't explain the dance and costumes.

I just loved W/P. Room to grow and a great start to the season. I assume Kaitlyn is trying to channel the Ann-Margaret look from the Elvis movies and the prom look is kind of what they were going for. Oh well.
Disappointing for H/B but I'm sure they'll improve quite a bit as season progresses.

If the same as last year 29, but some of these teams already have it from last year (once achieved it is good for 2 seasons).
