2015 Finlandia Trophy Ice Dance SD and FD

Jennifer URBAN / Sevan LERCHE (GER)

Music: Tango by Angelica feat. Rodrigo y Gabriela

Her in red long-sleeve dress, sparkly back / black tuxedo, red cumberband

- Twizzles (mirror) bit far apart
- Ouch, hard fall for both on straight-line lift. He was in besti quat, and she was changing position around his neck, but lost balance. Took a while for her to get up again

Seemed too cautious for a tango, especially after the fall

FD: 28.49+31.71-4.00 = 56.20, 97.47, 3/3

The Detroit Skating Club has an Olympic Size rink. Canton Arctic Edge only has NHL rinks but Canton Recreation Plan includes a new Olmpic size sheet for Marina

hello everyone! :), cleaning and cooking done, now it's time for fun - fingers crossed big for Kaitlyn and Andrew and the rest of skaters!!!

Barbora SILNA / Juri KURAKIN (AUT)

Music: Lawrence of Arabia (soundtrack) by Maurice Jarre

White, green ombre dress / tan jacket, brown pants

- Decent skate, no big mistakes, and they seem pleased (he kisses her forehead)
- Bit generic choreography, though I thought their lifts were creative
- Could use more speed and sharpness overall

FD: 32.90+33.95 = 66.85 (PB), 114.55 (PB), 2/4

Cortney MANSOUR / Michal CESKA (CZE)

Music: Broken Ballerina by Amy May
Old Toys from "Cirque du Soleil"
Pumpkin Pursuit by Patrick Doyle

White flowy one-sleeve dress / black vest, pants, white shirt

- She's portraying a live doll?
- Decent skate, could use more sharpness in lifts, and they got bit far apart a couple of times
- Liked the choreo spinning movement

FD: 43.33+35.95 = 79.28 (PB), 127.12 (PB), 2/5

Olesia KARMI / Max LINDHOLM (FIN)

Music: Where's the Man by Timo Lassy
The Good Life by Timo Lassy
Teddy the Sweeper by Timo Lassyv

Black racerback dress / black shirt, pants

- She fell on 2nd set of twizzles, didn't do 3rd
- The choreo/music started off ok, but I thought is boring overall

FD: 35.40+35.57-2.00 = 68.97, 117.75, 3/6

Ooh, I love this song!

Can't see I ever thought I'd see a skating program to it but it is great. :)
