The JGP circuit this year was vastly overscored. There is absolutely now way that you can compare junior to senior scores right now. They need to get the junior judging teams back on track so that the SB rankings make more sense at the end of the year.

I fully agree with this. Junior scores in ID this season are crazy. I suspect there is an agenda to push these teams.


Re-H&B I find this teams very aesthetically pleasing to watch, despite their flaws. There is a flow and lightness to their skating which even some senior teams don't have.

Ha Ha ...thought the same thing - are Hawayek and Baker striving for the Davis/White look with Jean-Luc's flowing hair? I really like them. The lightness and flow of their dance is wonderful. But ballet has a different quality and they've got some work to do. Kaitlin is not ballet-trained and it shows. She needs to work on those arms and overall extensions. I'm disappointed in the mid-50 score as I'm sure they are but have hopes for the FD. d

Just watched the Lipnitskaya clip. Hmmm, music is playing and she is skating, but those two do not connect with each other. In the choreography I can see no attempt to interpret the music.

Otherwise ok, though they need much more speed (and sharpness)

I feel these two were perhaps just a bit out of their depth with the whole Bollywood thing, but they are also going on my teams to watch list... the first half of the combo lift was and despite the fall I really enjoyed their short.

Yep! They're coached by Wing and Lowe. Had lovely dances last year on the junior circuit too.
