Oh God they don't use Zamboni. I remember Yuzuru with snow fixing the ice in 2012 with the rest of the personnel. They use real people, not Zamboni!

I know it's a matter of taste, but this black evening dress simply doesn't go with this music. Since it's quite a folk-type music, I think the best is to opt for something Oksana Domnina wore a couple of years ago. By the way, I think that dress cost the Russian Federation a fortune.

I REALLY like T/T, I think they are a fantastic new team!

I do agree the costumes could use a bit of work.

I've just jumped in to watch the last FD group. Does it seem to anyone else that the Israelis skated slowly? And if so, how did they get such high scores in the SD?

I'll look at SD videos later, but anyone have a comment?

Yes the costumes are a little busy,
But nice to see an improvement from this new Israeli team,
Some more polish and stuff and they could be good

I too think that costumes in black colour are not fitting with the music. But the program is really good. Way to go Ilia and Isabella!

I just read on Wikipedia that Tobias and Tkachenko skated together before (but didn't compete together), in 2008. I didn't know that!

HD will go to worlds I guess. At least, their chances increased tremendously after this competition.

What I liked was the beautiful choreo and how well Jean-Luc portrayed it, as well as how sudden the twizzles seem to be. But they have A LOT to work on unfortunately, and I can see them being passed by for 4CC/Worlds if they do not fix it soon.

I do think I'll like this program when skated clean. I feel disappointed by how this competition has gone for H/B- it was not the start to the season they wanted or possibly even needed. However, I continue to really enjoy them and to believe they are absolutely the future of US Ice dance.

So sad to see them fall! :hopelessness: I hope they have better skates at SA. This must've been disappointing for them, as I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted a fall.

This is par for the course Kaitlyn and Jean Luc. They are talented, but they do tend to make silly errors, especially early in the season. They're still in the running. It can only go up from here.
