Romain's short program was really great, with a very good interpretation.
His free program was less moving, because its music (a classical one) is (of course !) less powerful than the "Je suis malade" song. Romain did a great job, even if he struggled a bit on some jumps. Sure Brian will make him improve his 3A and 4T ! :biggrin:
However, Romain dominated the competition without any doubt ! Congretulations to him ! :cheer:

It happened immediately, I noticed - maybe he'll keep on looking ever younger; and someone will wonder who that kid is hanging about with Romain in the kiss & cry. ;)

He really enjoy his current life with a lot of challenges and fun. I cheer for Romain, TEB, Nationals, Euro...
He would admire himself at present when he gets older... How wonderful.
Further, he has the will to skate if people wish. Brian, I want to see your skate more!:rock:

That interview made me very happy because it's nice to know that he will stay on this sport for many many years. Do you think he is allowed to be on Kiss & Cry in big competitions? Isn't there a some kind of rule that you have to be an ISU approved coach or something? And he doesn't have his diploma yet.

I prefer the 2010 version /w Johnny (but since he's doing Halloween on Ice, that couldn't be possible, lol!), but I'm glad Brian is having fun there. :yes:

I wonder as well, considering Romain will be at TEB. Maybe there will be an exemption to the rule, as it's the French GP? I doubt it can work this way, but I guess we'll know soon enough.
 
What an excellent article - thanks! Yes, I think what he said about the "Class of 2006" was really lovely - made me think of the bromance thread immediately, actually. :) But one can see they enjoy each other's company - and if they did not, they wouldn't be spending as much time with each other. :)

I agree about thinking he will be a great coach - I see a likely French lad, and I think: "Send him to Brian!" :)
 
It's very generous for Brian to pay Morozov's choreography. It must have cost several thousand dollars. And he doesn't charge any salary from Ponsart, either (I read this from another interview). But of course it's an ideal situation for Brian - to have a world class pupil so soon in his coaching career.

Yes, it is heart warming to see that all these skaters are friends.
Brian is a very nice guy from what I have seen of him, a man who does what he feels is right.
